2007 was a wonderful year for Ana Moura. After the success of the launch of her third record, that has already gone platinum after over 30 consecutive weeks in the album charts, Ana Moura toured the length and breadth of Portugal featuring concert highlights such as those in Oporto’s House of Music, in Lobos Council in Madeira, in Coruche, her place of birth, in Lisbon’s São Jorge Castle, as well as joining the Rolling Stones on stage in Alvalade Stadium, among many others. Arguably, the culmination came with the presentation of “Para Além da Saudade” in Belém Cultural Centre’s Main Auditorium in October. Furthermore, international audiences got the opportunity to hear such songs as “Os Búzios” or “O Fado da Procura” with Ana Moura also performing in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the Czech Republic. Indeed, Ana Moura has just returned from touring the Netherlands and Germany throughout January and part of February to return to more live performances in Portugal. Next up, it is back touring internationally with another series of concerts this time in the United States and Latin America. 2008 promises to be quite another year for Ana Moura!
