This concert results from the launch of Single, the solo first album by the double bassist Carlos Bica. In the accompanying tour of Portugal, he invited various of his friends and favourite musicians such as João Paulo, Jesse Chandler, Sam the Kid,  DJ Ilvibe, Matthias Schubert, Kalaf, Kalle Kalima, Alexandre Soares, Jorge Coelho, Ana Brandão and Mário Delgado. That decision resulted in unprecedented and surprising encounters.
This Museu do Oriente auditorium concert breaks from the aforementioned format, switching from solo performance to a concert in trio. As Carlos Bica himself stated: “it would be a waste not to take the maximum advantage of the presence of João Paulo and Mário Delgado and all the music they have to offer”.
The pianist João Paulo, guitar player Mário Delgado and Carlos Bica are musicians whose renown and great creativity require no further presentation.
