THE SONG BAND seeks out the essence of songs in the broadest possible sense of the term. They are “songs” that may often not have lyrics but with a musical ambience that serves to create the conditions for a wordless story.  Out of the malleability specific to this jazz quartet emerges musical poetry, sometimes cinematographic, resulting from the selection and interpretation of a surprising repertoire.
