BLANKETS AND QUILTS
Come and discover the worlds of Indonesia and East Timor through their textiles. This workshop reinvents the traditional patterns of each country through pieces of cloth that, coming together in a great patchwork quilt, brings out family related memories and experiences.

WORDS IN FAMILY
In this workshop, the word is written in Chinese. Through exploring Chinese calligraphy, we may trace a genealogic tree with the names of all our family members or take simple delight in the charm of a streak of ink over a sheet of rice paper.

WATERCOLOURS FROM HERE AND OVER THERE
Oils, engraving and watercolours are not techniques unique to western art. They also underwent development in Asia, and particularly China. TRADITIONAL GOAN FAMILY DANCES
Discovering Goa in its dances and songs is the proposal for this weekend. Through this wonderful voyage, families dress the part to dance the steps to the sound of cheretas (coconut shells) and sing songs in Concani (the language of Goa).
In partnership with Ekvat, the House of Goa group.
