The Open Concert is a radio program carried by the Antena 2 station since September 2006. Through live concerts, broadcast from culture and education related institutions, this program takes new projects, whether from young upcoming talents or renowned musical heavyweights, to a national radio audience.

The concert program that is to be broadcast live from the Museu do Oriente features various facets of Japanese musical traditions.

César Viana, flutist and composer, interprets classical Japanese music on a Shakuhachi flute, contemporary Japanese music on a recorder as well as contemporary (Western) music inspired by Japanese sources. The XaSonaiP duo, on saxophone and piano, also present pieces by three Japanese composers: Ichiro Nodaïra, Yoshihisa Taïra and Takashi Yoshimatsu.
