BY THE CHINESE school OF Lisbon

A performance of traditional Chinese music and dance by students, teachers and friends of the Chinese School of Lisbon. This establishment teaches Mandarin to Chinese, Portuguese, French and Spanish children.

In these performances, the children reveal their level of proficiency in the field of Chinese dance and music seeking to convey to the public the way they feel these artistic forms of expression.

The famous song Flower of Jasmine is sung by children who while unable to speak the language fluently are nevertheless able to sing in a highly beautiful fashion.

In turn, the popular song Chinese Language humorously announces that studying Chinese is now a popular trend all around the world.

Finally, the Red Daughter dance reveals the lively spirit and self-confidence of this 8 year old group of dancers.
