27 March celebrates World Theatre Day and our offering is for younger audiences to come and see a rather special type of theatre able to teach important aspects of Asian culture. The Máyá theatre opens up Hindu philosophical themes and, through adapting them to the West, show how they may be conveyed to our children. Come and discover the children’s play The People-Light and the Shadow Men, featuring youths and adults and based on a text adapted from Ana Zanatti exploring various yoga disciplines and techniques such as Pránáyáma, Kírtana, Yoganidrá, Jápa, Dhyána, Ásana, Pujá, Yantra and Mánasika thereby enabling a broader public to better understand the ancestral philosophy represented by Sámkhya Yoga.

In cooperation with the Luso Federation of Yoga (FLY) and the Luso Association of Yoga (ALYO).
