Sixteen artists from a range of European and Asian countries present their two day performance program to a Lisbon audience.

On the invitation of the Asia-Europe Foundation, alkantara festival for the first time brings the Pointe to Point meeting to Portugal. This is in keeping with one of the initiatives of the Foundation: to encourage young artists originally from Asia and Europe to reflect on their contemporary societies through individual artistic expression and dedicated to providing these young people with a platform focused on processes of artistic interchange and dialogue.

Fundação Oriente is the local partner in this initiative and hosting the public presentations of a residency that begins in this week.
