AUDITORIUM

The Auditorium hosts a vast and regular program of concerts, cinema, theatre and dance. It also serves as conference room.
The Auditorium has a maximum capacity of 355 places but its design enables smaller scale events to be hosted, occupying only the central seating areas.
This space is equipped with the very best acoustic conditions and standards of comfort in addition to the latest sound and image technology. There are also two inbuilt interpreting booths.
Access to these areas is direct, via a panoramic lift accessible from the Museum entranceway and providing spectacular views over the unique ambience of the various exhibition floors.

A leading feature of the Museum, the Macau Room is a unique facility within Lisbon,
Which may be used either as meeting room or as an open banqueting room.
The Macau Room provides direct access to a terrace also facing out onto the river.

TERRACE

Looking directly out over the Tagus, the Museu do Oriente terrace provides a unique ambience for hosting everything from coffee-breaks through to an early evening cocktail.
The terrace may be adapted to create various scenarios.
FOYER

The Museu do Oriente foyer opens up onto the Auditorium and the Macau Room. A meeting in the first and a product presentation in the foyer and a cocktail or banquet at the Macau Room may be held simultaneously.
This area is normally used for receptions, accreditation, product and service exhibitions as well as coffee-breaks.
LOUNGE

Situated on the ground floor of the Museum, the Lounge is an open area, with natural lighting and may be adapted to various event formats among which the launch and exhibition of products.
It also often serves as a site for accreditation or catering services and in such cases as a support facility for events taking place in the Meeting Centre.
MEETING ROOMS
The Museu do Oriente has, on Level 4, six differently sized meeting rooms: the Beijing, Tokyo, New Delhi, Dili, Goa and Macau rooms.
Every room enables clients to personalise the spaces requested in accordance with a range of meeting formats and scales.
